Bio

Formed in 2021, Cheap Monarchy has emerged as an exciting addition to the storied Chicago alternative music scene. A bright, alt-rock sound influenced by The Strokes, COIN, and Saint Motel coupled with energetic live performances make Cheap Monarchy a band to watch. 

Cheap Monarchy's recent performances include opening for Stop Light Observations at Lincoln Hall (10.14.23) and headlining at Schubas (8.8.23) and HVAC Pub (7.8.23). The band has also headlined/played shows at Subterranean, Beat Kitchen, Chop Shop, Sleeping Village, Reggies, Cubby Bear, and headlined at numerous festivals in the Chicagoland area. Their debut EP 'Hollywood Sensation' and new single 'Just Might Suit Me' are out and available for streaming on all platforms. The boys look forward to seeing you on a dance floor soon!
